The transom is completely closed when the bathing platform is folded up. Folded down, with a wireless remote control, there is an enormous swim platform. There is an elegant sundeck lowered into the coachroof of the aft cabin. This sundeck is completely free from winches, tracks, clutches or vents, even the deckhatch is flush mounted with the teak. The Hallberg-Rassy 54 was built in 44 units from 2006 until 2012, when the updated Hallberg-Rassy 55 was introduced. The 55 was built from 2012-2017.The dorade vents are of a new and innovative type with light balls, which automatically float up and close the vents if too much water is taken on the deck. As soon as the water flows away, the balls sink and open the vent again. Her graceful lines are impressive. You wish you could leave the dock immediately and never come back again, just go sailing, sailing, sailing.The step to climb into the cockpit is a new design allowing easy access into the cockpit. When seated in the cockpit one immediately takes notice of the increased comfort with better angling of the backrest. The teak in the cockpit is flush mounted with the gelcoat. This not only looks good, it is easier to keep clean as well. The cockpit locker lid has a gas spring, making the lid almost weightless. The sliding entrance hatch is in plexi glass which allows light into the boat and the grabrail of the sliding hatch is of high gloss varnished teak as are the generous exterior chart tables.The entrance ladder has a completely new, more rounded design with substantial and elegant grab rails. The armchairs to port have a new design with a more stylish colour combination and greater comfort. The saloon is wide, bright and airy. The mast support has a rounder shape. All horizontal fiddles are wide and milled out on the inside creating good handhold everywhere in the yacht. All locker doors have hidden stainless hinges, which also work as an end stopper. The drawers close automatically and quietly. The doorframes have a new design. The 20 inch flat screen TV concealed between the armchairs is controlled up and down at the push of a button. Even the wooden lid over the TV opens and closes automatically.&nbsp;The floor is in one level throughout the boat. This provides easy movement throughout the boat even in choppy seas. Most Hallberg-Rassy yachts are sailed by one or two couples. Only occasionally is there a need for a third cabin. With this in mind, Hallberg-Rassy have developed a new alternative layout forward of the mast; the Supercabin. That means there are two high priority double cabins and one more two-berth cabin in the front for occasional use. Apart from the comfortable aft cabin there is now also a very generous cabin in front of the mast with a double berth and lots of elbow space. The V-cabin in front is still there and the actual berths are not smaller than they normally are but the hanging locker and the floor area of the V-cabin has been reduced in favour for the super cabin forward of the mast.On this boat the well-equipped galley is located on the port side and has a great worktop area in Corian. There is a freezer, a top opening fridge and a front opening fridge. The dishwasher is well hidden by a locker door. The deep double sinks are glued and screwed from the underside making it easy to keep the worktop clean. The microwave in stainless steel is of an elegant design.

The new Hallberg-Rassy 400 is an aft cockpit boat with twin helms, a modern and efficient hull shape with twin rudders and an easy to handle rig. The interior offers the option of one or two aft cabins, one or two heads, classic mahogany or bright European oak interior. After the center cockpit 40C, the&nbsp;aft cockpit&nbsp;400 is the second new 40 footer from Hallberg-Rassy in a short time.&nbsp;The cockpit is large. The twin helms make it easy to move in the cockpit. There is ample space on the pedestal heads for buttons and displays.&nbsp;The coaming is wide enough to offer flexibility for seating on top of the coaming or at bench level, with the benefit of the side protection by the coaming.&nbsp;The telltails of the headsail are easy to see from the helmsman's position. There is a fixed high gloss varnished teak table available. Control lines are lead in a concealed way to the cockpit coamings, allowing electric winches, without taking up any interior space. There are bins for excess ropes so the cockpit is always clean and tidy. The main sheet track is conveniently located in front of the Hallberg-Rassy typical wind screen. There is a fold-out swim platform available. Cockpit length and deck locker storage is larger than on the 412.The rig is modern and easy to handle. The headsail is only slightly overlapping and easy to tack and there is a self tacking option too. The bowsprit is elegantly integrated with the hull and deck as standard, not an afterthought. The bowsprit is an excellent tack point for a gennaker, a mount for a bow ladder with platform and stowage for an Ultra bow anchor.Comfort equipment is available, such as bow- and stern thrusters, and this may be combined with a generator. There are other comfort options such as washing machine, dish washer, or an extra fridge and freezer. Air conditioner and watermaker are also possible.

The Hallberg-Rassy 50 pushes the boundaries for what is possible up to 50 ft and at the same time remains true to the classic Hallberg-Rassy fundamentals.Hallberg-Rassy and Seldén are tweaking the concept of cruising by blending it with a great deal of performance. Carbon in-mast furling now&nbsp;takes PushButtonSailing to a completely new level.&nbsp;This set-up reduces the heeling and the weather helm to a minimum and improves up-wind performance. The lighter mast also makes for less pitching and pumping in choppy and big seas and the whole set-up will give a richer over-all sailing experience.Traditionally we are used to comparing boats with hull length in feet. But much more relevant is the waterline length. The new 50 has a waterline that is as much as 50 cm / 1’ 8’’ longer than on the Hallberg-Rassy 55. Longer waterline gives better sailing performance with longer average day runs and at the same time more interior volume, comfort and storage under deck. The width is 33 cm larger at the widest point and an incredible 1.08 m wider than the 55 on the transom. That further enhances interior volume and storage.The modern and most efficient hull shape gives superior sailing performance. At the same time, the forward under water part of the hull is rounded, almost like an egg, and this means soft motion in a seaway at any angle of heel. The displacement of the hull is designed to carry all modern comfort equipment and lots of personal belongings, as well as generous tank capacity.Typical Hallberg-Rassy, the cockpit is very well sheltered with high all-round coamings and a soft top or hard top windscreen with tempered glass, opening mid section and handholds at the sides. This is the ideal cockpit solution for both hot and cold areas. There is good all-round visibility. With twin wheels, there is both lots of space for displays and buttons and an easy passage from the helm position and forward. Furthermore, the wheel positions give better visibility forward, both when maneuvering in a harbour and to see the tell tails of the headsail. There is an optional big fixed high gloss varnished wooden table with drop leaves.The rig is modern and easy to handle. It is even possible to fly an inner removable heavy weather sail with no runners. The foresail is only slightly overlapping, making tacking easy. There is also an option for a self tacking jib arrangement. Seldén electric furling for both in-mast and headsail, as well as electric sheet winches are fitted as standard. The main is designed to carry an Elvström FatFurl modern in-mast furling sail with Epex membrane, with roach, vertical battens and headboard. Between 2007 and 2013 The improved Hallberg-Rassy 43 Mk II was built in 40 units and from 2013 until 2016 the Hallberg-Rassy 43 Mk III. The 43 has won Yacht of the Year in Germany, Best Midsize Cruiser in the USA, Best overall Cruising boat in the USA as well as Top 10 in the US and Import Boat of the Year in Australia 2006.The 43 has all the typical Hallberg-Rassy benchmarks. It goes without saying that this is a well-built blue water cruiser. The interior floor is all in one level, there is a seagoing galley, a windshield, a rubbing strake to the hull, big engine, generous tankage and timeless beautiful lines with a natural grace.

The Hallberg Rassy Yard has specialized in series production of seaworthy and comfortable deep water boats of a quality that not even the classic hand built sailing boats can match. We have found how first class joinery can be accomplished with modern industrial methods, and how the beauty of the classic sailing boat hull can be combined with modern sailing techniques.This was the concept behind our new boat, the HR 26. Designer Olle Enderlein has chosen to create strength and spaciousness through a relatively beamy hull. The HR 26 is built with a fin keel, which is integral with the hull. Thus the cast iron ballast is incapsuled in the keel, a construction that has proved superior in giving a fin keel the required robustness.The transom hung rudder results in the best possible efficiency and at the same time the tiller does not encroach on the space in the cockpit. The precisely calculated seating height in the cockpit does not only give you effective protection, but it also affords you safety due to the good visibility forward.Characteristic of all Hallberg Rassy boats is the flawless joinery, in which every single detail is a combination of utility and beauty. The whole of the interior trim is light and inviting. The galley is extremely well equipped and includes a propane gas or paraffin stove, whichever you prefer, a built-in ice box, sink, foot-operated fresh water pump and rack for crockery. The fresh water tank contains 65 litres, and the headroom in the galley is the whole of 6 feet.&nbsp;The stable table has three positions full width in harbour, half width with rails at sea and completely folded when the bunks are used. The HR 26 has four berths, each of which is at least 2 metres long and 70 centimetres wide at shoulder height. The toilet space has also been ergo-metrically designed There is plenty of stowage space and a separate wardrobe. The hardened glass windows in anodized aluminium frames are located at a level giving you a good view of the life going on around you in harbour, a feature that contributes greatly to the pleasure you can enjoy on board the HR 26. A protective rubbing strake runs right around the whole of the hull - a valuable feature in busy harbours at the height of the season.

From 1991 until 2001 the Hallberg-Rassy 42F was built in totally 181 units. From 1990 until 1994 the Hallberg-Rassy 42F Mk I was built in 53 units without the swim platform and without the developed transom as on the Mk II. From 1994 until 2001 the improved Hallberg-Rassy 42F Mk II was built in 128 units. Apart from the transom, the rest of the hull, sailplan and engine remained the same between the Mk I and Mk II. 53 units were built of the Mk I version: construction numbers 1-52 plus number 55. This Frers designed 42F is not to be confused with the Enderlein designed.The Hallberg-Rassy 42F interior sole is in one level throughout the yacht. That means no tripping and easy movement onboard, both when sailing and while at anchor or in a marina.Two heads and two sleeping cabins offer privacy and comfort. The center cockpit is well sheltered with good brace and everything within easy reach.

1990 the almost revolutionary Hallberg-Rassy 34 was launched. The concept was a new Frers designed model with greatly improved performance compared to earlier production Hallberg-Rassys and a look that can be described so contradictory as younger, yet classic at the same time.This should be done without sacrificing all the good old Hallberg-Rassy qualities&nbsp;such as sturdiness, seaworthiness, comfort, safety, and fine wood-work. This concept came reality in every aspect and the 34 came to be a commercial success and a forerunner for a whole new generation Hallberg-Rassys. 484 units were built during the sixteen years the boat was in production 1990 - 2005.Hallberg-Rassy 34 with her efficient keel and sturdy fractional rig shows sailing characteristics that should not be possible for a fine cruising boat like this. She has won many races, although she at the same time offers great comfort for cruising long distances.The vast 2.24 m aft cockpit is well protected from the sea by the Hallberg-Rassy typical wind screen. All halyards and reefing lines are controlled from the cockpit.

The Hallberg-Rassy 412 is the largest aft cockpit Hallberg-Rassy ever built. She offers the option of twin or single aft cabins, one or two heads and a large cockpit. There are also comfort options such as gen set, washing machine, bow- and stern thrusters. At the same time she performs like a goddess. Hallberg-Rassy 412 combines speed and comfort.Although she is a comfortable cruising boat, she wins races in tough competition. In Tjörn Runt, one of the largest inshore races in the world, the 412 not only won her class among 48 boats, she was even first to finish in her class, among racing boats. This means she is the fastest, both on calculated an on actual time. The winning boat had in-mast furling with FatFurl. While others talk the talk, this one walks the walk. This shows that a comfortable cruising boat can win the most demanding race.Halyards are hidden under the coach roof and are handled by two winches on the cockpit coaming, without interfering with the exterior chart tables. This solution makes it possible to achieve Hallberg-Rassy typical Push Button Sailing with optional electric halyard and control winches, without disturbing the interior, even with a traditional non-furling mainsail. There are two big exterior chart tables in teak. It goes without saying that the cockpit is well protected by a windscreen that blends perfectly into the lines of the yacht.There are no less than seven large deck hatches, all flush mounted so that the glass is level with the coach roof or the teak deck.The genoajib furler has an under deck mounted drum to get clean deck lines. The optional electric anchor windlass is also mounted under deck.The aft cockpit is very generous; 312 cm long with 264 cm long seats. As standard, there is an elegant teak cockpit table on the pedestal. As an option, there is a large fixed cockpit table available. The wide steering pedestal has space for many buttons, instruments and a 12 inch plotter. The leather covered steering wheel is a large 122 cm diameter. The steering is directly linked, for a precise sailing experience. There is an option for a bimini top.The modern sail plan is made for easy handling, with its greater mainsail and only slightly overlapping genoajib. There is an option of a self tacking jib. A powerful backstay tensioner is fitted as standard. The rig has triple swept-back spreaders, the top shrouds go out to near the toe rail and the lowers are positioned close to the superstructure. That gives an easy passage on deck, good sheeting possibilities for the headsail, as well as ideal support for the mast. An optional code zero or gennaker is flown between the masthead and a removable bowsprit.The lead keel has a heavy bulb and weighs 4 tons. The keel is bolted onto a deep bilge, for both strength and comfort. The rudder is deep and with good rudder bearings for good feel and control even under tough conditions. The hull has an integral rubbing rail.

The Hallberg-Rassy 31 was built 18 years (!) from 1992 - 2009 in 356 units. That is one of the longest production runs in Hallberg-Rassy's history. The Hallberg-Rassy 31 is a true Hallberg-Rassy, with the same high level of quality and elegance as her larger sisters.The interior woodwork and joinery is done in the selected mahogany that has become a Hallberg-Rassy trademark. The interior is extremely well laid out for her size. Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter was built for fourteen years between 1981 and 1994. A total of 195 hulls were built. The Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter is a charming motor sailor and a departure from the range of other Hallberg-Rassy yachts. The hull reminds of the beautiful lines of a traditional Swedish fishing boat, but has a more pronounced keel. The 94 has a fuller hull than other Hallberg-Rassy designs from this era and a canoe stern and a full keel.The cockpit has a steering house, which has been available in two different versions with different angling of the wind screen. The sail area is rather moderate for a 31 footer but she sails surprisingly well for her type. She tacks well even in a light breeze without help of the engine. There are Hallberg-Rassy 94s who have crossed the Atlantic. The Volvo Penta engine is generous. The interior has four very good berths and ample of stowage.

The Hallberg-Rassy 312 was built for fifteen years between 1979 and 1993. Totally 690 boats were built. The 312 is a very popular model. Until 1986 the Hallberg-Rassy 312 Mark I was built, with the portlights in the blue stripe in the hull and with or without quarter berth. Models without quarter berth had an extra cockpit locker on starboard.In 1986 the Hallberg-Rassy 312 Mk II was introduced. The first visible change is that the portlights got larger and were moved up to the superstructure as on today’s Hallberg-Rassy range. This gives a brighter saloon and a greater feeling of spaciousness. The whole superstructure and cockpit were at the same time moved aft, allowing a couple of important extra centimetres in the saloon. The superstructure was also raised, improving the headroom from 1.83 m to 1.85 m, which subjectively feels a lot more than the figure suggests on the paper. The working area of the galley was improved. The newer model was only built with quarter berth. The toilet compartment also got separate, and not all over the beam of the boat as on the previous model. There was a shower basin fitted into the new toilet compartment.Hull and sail plan remained the same in both the Mk I and Mk II. 485 units were built of the Mark I version and 205 of the Mark II.

The Hallberg-Rassy 55 was built 2012-2017 in 9 units. She is based on the 54, with numerous updates: An all-new deck with improved cockpit and coach roof. The deck is more clean and uncluttered with flush deck hatches and no garage for the entrance sliding hatch. The sheerline is lower in the aft part and the transom is even lower and more elegant. Portlights in the saloon are improved with more glass area. Four hull portlights are added. Also the interior has many upgrades, with an aft head that is identical to the one in the 64. The rudder, skeg and aft part of the hull stiffener are improved and offers room for a stern thruster. The 55 connects closely to the successful 64, with lots of natural light through large tempered glass portlights in the saloon, as well as four hull portlights and seven flush mounted skylight hatches, of which&nbsp;three are in the saloon alone. White painted wooden panels in the saloon alcoves further contribute to the spacious and inviting feel.The rig has triple spreaders, which are only swept back three degrees resulting in extra stability. Furthermore, there is an option for jumpstay that gives additional stability when using a permanent hydraulic cutterstay. The permanent cutterstay gives freedom and comfort for ocean crossings.Compared to the 54, the new 55 has as much as 30 cm longer cockpit. The helmsman's position is slightly elevated like on the 64. The superstructure of the 55 is lower in the forward end compared to the 54 and more elegant. As on the 64, there is no garage necessary for the sliding hatch. The top part of the side panel of the windscreen is slightly curved, as on the new 412. The steering pedestal allows space for an integrated 14 inch plotter.The engine room is really worth a chapter of its own. There is a large door and a walk-in engine room. It is carefully sound insulated and perforated aluminium plates also cover the insulation. In here all the technical equipment is found: low RPM main engine, low RPM generator with soundshield, double heaters, all pumps, filters, pressure equalizer for the fresh water system, AquaDrive flexible coupling for the engine shaft, high pressure pump for the watermaker, just to mention a few. All easy to maintain, all well sound insulated. The engine room lighting is 24 v, but there is also an optional 230 v fluorescent light, with power supply from either the shore connection or the inverter. The Mastervolt inverter automatically and quickly changes between shore power and inverter, depending on what is available.The D4-180 engine hums pleasantly and it is evident that there is a very good torque even at 1100 RPMs. You can achieve 8 knots at 1400 RPM. Strongly contributing is the efficient optional three bladed, overdrive, Gori folding propeller.

This solution has become synonymous with the modern cruising yacht.A powerful engine is an important part of a long distance cruiser. It runs at cruising speed (8.2 knots) at a low 1,300 RPM. Furthermore, a two geared three bladed folding propeller with overdrive provides maximum performance under power, an important point which cannot be emphasised enough for extended voyages.Despite the fact that the boat is built as a top-of-the-range yacht, she can virtually be sailed single handed. Hallberg-Rassy 39 was built from 1991 until 2003. A total of 209 boats were built. Number 1-54 between 1991 and 1994 were the Mark I, number 55-209 were Mark II 1994-2003. The difference between Mk I and Mk II is mainly that the Mk I has a traditional transom and the Mk II a developed transom with built in bathing platform. The rest of the hull, keel, rudder, and sailplan remained the same.This is a yacht with two very generous double cabins and a vast toilet compartment. You often hear that every boat is 1 m too short. This does not apply to the Hallberg-Rassy 39. There are not too many berths, but the interior is fabulously roomy and allows for excellent elbow space for her crew. Someone said that the Hallberg-Rassy 39 is the world's most perfect 36-footer. That says a lot about the concept of the Hallberg-Rassy 39.The layout offers much storage and provides excellent comfort. The interior allows for some special solutions like the famous Hallberg-Rassy Chairs in the saloon. These were introduced by Hallberg-Rassy in 1984 and many boat yards around the world have tried to copy these. The aft cabin can be built with two separate berths or a queen size berth at starboard and a L-sofa at port. The galley is seagoing and does not interfere with the natural flow through the boat. Storage throughout the boat is generous.

The Hallberg-Rassy 53 was built for fifteen years between 1992 and 2006 in 88 units. This yacht with graceful elegance offers lots of elbow space and room for comfort equipment. Exactly 200 units of the Hallberg-Rassy 37 were created 2003-2012. She is a well-built long distance cruiser with great comfort. The centre cockpit is very well protected by the Hallberg-Rassy typical wind screen. There is a&nbsp;good aft deck, making movement on deck easy. Her interior&nbsp;layout allows for an airy aft cabin, well separated from the saloon, yet easily accessible. The big engine room even allows for installation of a power generator. Her tankage is generous for long range cruising.&nbsp;The woodwork is crafted by experienced boat builders.The rig is slightly fractional but still with forward and aft lowers, combining stability and flexibility. The pedestal heads each have enough space for a good size modern chart plotter. The deep cockpit gives excellent protection. No runners are needed, not even with an inner heavy weather jib. The head sail furler is an push button operated under-deck fitted Furlex TD. Cap shrouds and lowers are divided with separated chainplates. That gives easy passage on deck, a good set up for sheeting the head sail and to create a wide steady support for the mast. A powerful hydraulic backstay tensioner comes as standard. The head sail has a small overlap which makes it easy to tack. There is even a possibility to get a self-tacking arrangement. She is a real mile eater. According to Frers speed diagram, a loaded Hallberg-Rassy 57 will log 8.75 knots in a 90 degree true wind angle with only 10 knots true wind.The interior offers a spacious accommodation. The forward cabin and the starboard cabin are very big for the yacht size with lots of storage, elbow space and big generous bed sizes. The v cabin is so comfortable that it is big enough as a second owner’s cabin. It goes without saying that the whole interior is bright and inviting. The whole interior has a one level sole area, comfortable and safe both out at sea and in a marina. There is a dedicated wet locker directly in the entrance area. The aft cabin is wide, airy and with a comfort worthy a king. The seagoing galley has huge work top areas and allows for a Miele induction stove, a dishwasher, a micro wave oven and a second deep freezer. The interior joineries are offered in traditional mahogany, in bright European oak, or in teak. All in finished in clear varnish with horizontal grain.

There are six hull portlights, of larger size than the 40 Mk II and 412 and of the same size as on the 44, 57 and 64.The exterior unites two worlds in an elegant way. There is no doubt that this is a contemporary boat from 2020. At the same time it is also obvious for any sailor that this is a true Hallberg-Rassy with everything it means, such as brand identity, security and continuity. The bow is upright for long sailing waterline and top sailing performance, with an integral and elegant bowsprit for a light wind sail, anchoring and a bow ladder. The sheer line is classy and elegant. Also the transom is upright and very full. This gives lots of living space, huge storage and a long sailing waterline. Of course the boat has twin rudders for full sailing control and safety. Needless to say, there are typical Hallberg-Rassy solutions, such as: Very well sheltered cockpit. An integral and protective rub rail. A heavy lead keel with low center of gravity on a deep bilge for tough conditions. A proper bulwark with teak toe rail so that rain water is drained below the water line, avoiding staining the hull.This new model may be ordered either with the traditional wind screen with foldable sprayhood, or a robust hardtop dodger.
