Albemarle 27 Dual Console: Family Fun with Offshore Heritage
1. General Information
The Albemarle 27 Dual Console is a 9.14 m outboard family boat designed for coastal days out, from sandbar anchoring and waterskiing to diving and evening cruises. Its deep-V hull gives the soft, dry ride that Albemarle is known for, with seating from bow to stern for the whole family and enough fishing gear to keep anglers happy.
2. Construction and Design
The hull is hand-laid solid fibreglass with vinylester resin and a 24-degree deadrise, bonded and mechanically fastened to a one-piece moulded deck and cockpit liner on a composite, fibreglass-encapsulated stringer system, with a 10-year structural warranty. The starboard console houses a bunk and large dry storage, with an electric head, freshwater sink and cockpit shower on board.
3. Key Features
Fishing deck: a large insulated in-deck box, a plumbed transom livewell and a 64-quart cooler under the aft-facing seat.
Comfort: an optional hardtop, sun shades and a full-height windshield with custom enclosure extend the season.
Twin outboard power: Yamaha or Mercury engines of 200 to 300 hp each, with hydraulic steering.
4. Summary
The Albemarle 27 Dual Console combines a rugged offshore-capable hull with family-friendly comfort and real fishing features, making it a versatile choice for coastal boaters who fish, swim, ski and cruise.
