1. General Information
The Albemarle 280 Express Fisherman, built from 1997 to 2007, was one of the best-selling boats in its class. It is an updated version of the popular 27 Express with a refreshed interior and a redesigned deck layout. Measuring 8.86 m overall, it combines hardcore fishing features with good range and a useful turn of speed, placing it among the leading sportfishing boats under 30 feet.

The boat is heavily built on an aggressive deep-V fibreglass hull with a 24-degree deadrise aft and a wide 2.90 m beam. Weighing around 4,300 kg, it is no lightweight, and it was offered with a choice of straight inboard or jackshaft/sterndrive power. Twin 280 hp Volvo gas engines cruise it at 22 to 23 mph, while twin 210 to 240 hp diesels cruise in the mid-20s.
3. Key Features
