Boat Description
The Arcona 340 matches the quality and ambience of our other performance yachts. The
rich farmed Khaya Mahogany interior, owners' choice of fabrics, white headlining, and
plenty of ports and hatches provide light, good ventilation and unrivalled comfort.
Nominated in the category Performance/Cruiser, European Yacht of the Year 2010, the
Arcona 340 is a joy to helm. She can be successfully campaigned on the regatta circuit, whilst remaining a truly stable, as well as luxurious, boat to live aboard when taking the family for a more relaxed cruise.
The layout provides a forecabin with plenty of room and a sizable clothes locker each side of the dressing area, with more stowage beneath the berth an elegant saloon with L-shaped galley, with plentiful stowage and a good sized sink and fridge; a smoothly rounded chart table; a twin leaf saloon table, and long straight settees capable of seating six in comfort to dine as well as providing two excellent sea berths on the move
a spacious toilet with shower; a deep sink, wet locker, and easy access to the cockpit locker through a door a roomy aft cabin with a very large double berth, plenty of lockers and shelves, and some stowage under the berth.
The Arcona 340 is built with the latest materials and advanced techniques. Her lay-up, which incorporates a 20mm Divinycell foam core employs the latest vacuum infusion technology. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. Fitted with a powerful fractional rig, the Arcona 340 sports a tapered, twin spreader, keel-
stepped mast. Tie bars take the rig loads down to the galvanised steel frame, removing any stress on the hull. For strength and stability, the bulb keel is made of antimony hardened lead.
