Extremely functional well thought out deck design with plenty of room to take your family and friends out cruising in comfort.&nbsp; Plenty of seating with storage and large lounger seats in the rear.&nbsp; The boat does have cosmetic flaws as shown in the photos but does not affect its on water performance or enjoyability.&nbsp; It is very much structurally sound and sea worthy.&nbsp; Had the family out on it and its on water performance is flawless.&nbsp; Even when the wind picked up and the calm waters disappeared this boat handled with ease.&nbsp; Crusing speed can be anywhere from a slow crawl to an exciting speed.&nbsp; Get on the water for a great deal and go boating!&nbsp;

With this new model, Sanlorenzo encloses in a smaller size a series of important features that are the result of ongoing stylistic and technological research, including hybrid motorisation, carried out by the company in an open and continuous dialogue with designers.With a hull length of less than 24 metres and an out overall length of almost 28 metres, the SD90/s is a project that focuses on transversal technological efficiency, both in terms of resistance to motion by the hull and research into materials. After the brilliant results achieved with the optimisation of energy efficiency on the hull of SD96, Philippe Briand was also involved in the study of that of SD90/s. The geometric characteristics of the hull allow the boat to perform remarkably well both with hybrid propulsion between 6 and 10 knots and with traditional propulsion at a maximum speed of 17 knots.The external lines of the SD90/s, curated by the Zuccon International Project studio, are the result of an articulated stylistic exercise that finds an optimal balance in the shapes, producing a product that is surprising in its volumes and design. Structured on two and a half decks, SD90/s features an open fly bridge and is configured with a lower deck, main deck. The layout is designed to guarantee maximum liveability of the yacht, as can be seen from the new solutions introduced both externally and internally, which give a totally revised perception of space compared to the other yachts in the same range.The bow area of the main deck is conceived as a partial full beam and characterises the volume of the owner’s cabin in an unusual way, providing a more spacious area inside compared to a traditional layout.The bow area is designed to enjoy the boat to the full in all its spaces and includes two different configurations designed to meet the desires of customers who like to relax more or those who prefer conviviality instead. The first version features a sunbathing area distributed in two areas and on two levels, while the second consists of tables, two sofas and a raised sunbathing area. Both layouts allow guests a direct view of the water, once again underlining the importance of the connection with the sea. The fly bridge is minimal, with a lounge and dining area and a very light T-top in line with the boat’s volumes.The interior design of the SD90/s is by Patricia Urquiola who, in her third collaboration with Sanlorenzo, accepts the sustainability challenge and interprets the spaces, bringing her own vision on board with an approach closely linked to transformability.The flexibility of the interior of the SD90/s allows the yacht to adapt to the different needs of those who live it, evolving and transforming itself through unprecedented solutions of furnishings and configurations. The layout of the saloon on the main deck makes it possible to have both a lounge and dining area, solutions typically found on larger yachts, thanks to the use of tables that can be transformed in height and comfortable sofas, an interesting choice for convivial moments.The lower deck further represents the transformability of the SD90/s: the space in front of the descent staircase is a lounge area that, if necessary, can be closed off and become a private cabin in which the sofa is converted into a bed.The spaces of the SD90/s are permeated by a style that strongly recalls the marine world and that in every detail seeks the maximum connection between interior and exterior. Among the boat’s salient features are the large windows, one of which remains fixed while the other opens completely, connecting the saloon with the cockpit area. The openness towards the outside is also favoured by the continuity of the flooring between the two areas thanks to the use of a parquet with oblique slats, with an innovative laying. A further key element in the design of the interior is the luminosity that dialogues in particular with the main deck ceiling, embellished with a micro-pattern that recalls the texture of the pots and creates interesting refractions when the boat is in the water.In the design of the SD90/s great care has been taken in researching and using raw materials from alternative sources, with a view to circularity of materials. The finishes used in the yacht’s interior – such as the wood panelling clad in cannulated Paper Factor and the sustainable terrazzo used in the bathrooms – are carefully selected to ensure a lower environmental impact of the entire product. Bio-resins are used for the details of the ceilings and furnishings, while the spaces are enriched with steel profiles and machined crystal.

There is a large hydraulic fold out bathing platform.&nbsp;An optional retractable gangway can be folded away into the lazarette. Together with the cockpit locker and the anchor locker in front there is 10.1 cubic meters of deck storage.The deck is clean and uncluttered. All skylights and hatches are flush mounted. There is a sun deck integrated into the aft cabin roof. The anchor winch is concealed under the deck level. There are options for hydraulic under-deck cutterstay furler and under-deck genoa furler. There are in total eight mooring cleats on the top of the toe rail, of which the spring cleats are double on each side.The cockpit is unusually large; 3.10 m long, that's 55 cm longer than on the Hallberg-Rassy 62. There is a large, fixed, teak cockpit table. All essential sailing control functions are handled from the cockpit by a single sailor using the push of buttons already as standard equipment. Optionally there is a hydraulic cutter stay and even a hydraulic code zero or furling gennaker available, furling at the push of buttons from the cockpit. The washboard is elegantly and easily lowered into a hidden storage. The cockpit is very well protected by the Hallberg-Rassy typical soft top wind screen or hard top.Below deck living areas have lots of natural light. All in all there are no less than thirty-one (31) portlights and skylights in the boat. There are six hull windows. Hull windows were introduced by Hallberg-Rassy back in 1976. You will look out through the four hull windows when sitting down and a person of normal length will look out through the large saloon portlights when standing up. The interior offers twelve choices in 5 sections, creating layouts available for all tastes and needs.The engine is unusually well sized, even for a Hallberg-Rassy. It is a 6 cylinder Volvo Penta D6-300 with 300 HP and has 669 Newton meter torque at 2&nbsp;500 RPM. Tanks are generous too for long range with 1&nbsp;800 liters of diesel fuel and 1&nbsp;300 liters of fresh water. In calm water with a clean underwater body, the fuel consumption at 1600 RPM and 7 knots is 7 liters per hour, one liter per nautical mile, which means around 1 800 nautical miles range!

Above the berth is an upholstered panel and a mirrored hatch to the rope and chain locker.
To starboard are cabinet doors with storage within. The aft cabinet on the starboard side houses the Phillips 13" TV/VCR combo on a hinge that swings towards the berth.
 Above is an escape hatch with screen and four dimmable mini halogen spots.
Lighted cedar lined hanging lockers. A hatch in the sole accesses the bow thruster and forward bilge. The access to the Head is aft and to starboard.
 Guest/Day Head Accessed from the both the guest statedroon and the&nbsp; companionway is the Guest Head.
The sole is&nbsp; teak and holly.
The vanity top is Corian with a molded sink and two cabinets in the formica vanity below. Above are two mirrored medicine cabinet doors with three shelves within. Ocean Yachts

The Ballad 30 is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fibreglass, with wood trim. The hull is made from single skin polyester fibreglass, while the deck is a fibreglass-Divinicell sandwich.The design was initially built by Albin Marine in Sweden from 1971 to 1982, with about 1,500 boats completed. After that company went out of business in 1982, the Ballard One-Design Association acquired the moulds and leased them to a number of companies, including Shipman Sweden AB and a few more boats were completed until 1998, but it is now out of production.
