Boat Description
Avalon GEOfish: A Purpose-Built Fishing Pontoon for Fresh and Salt Water
1. General Information
The Avalon GEOfish, launched as an all-new fishing model for 2025, brings dedicated angling equipment to the stable, spacious platform of a pontoon. Its centre console layouts keep the helm in the middle of the deck so anglers can work the bow and stern freely, while rear fishing layouts provide a familiar pontoon cockpit with a fishing station aft. Avalon lists four layouts: CLX, CRF and GLX in 23, 25 and 27 ft (CRF in 25 and 27 ft), plus the RF rear fish layout in 21, 23 and 25 ft. The 25 ft GLX measures around 8.08 m (26 ft 7 in) overall with a 2.59 m (8 ft 6 in) beam. Dealers position the GEOfish for both freshwater and saltwater fishing, with an optional saltwater package. It is an excellent choice for anglers who want room for family and friends, all-day comfort and a boat that is equally at home on an inland lake or a sheltered bay.
2. Construction and Design
The centre console CLX, CRF and GLX layouts ride on Sport Performance triple 25-inch aluminium pontoons with four high-performance lifting fins, a ski tow bar and an aluminium waveshield, giving a stable, level platform for casting and fighting fish. The RF and QF layouts use two 25-inch pontoons. All share solid bottom keels, double full risers, a tapered front deck, an extended rear deck and aluminium deck corner protection. Walls are .040 external smooth panels, with interior composite wall panels on the console layouts. Inside, 3000 Series furniture with Leon vinyl and suspension seating sits on full taupe or grey vinyl flooring, and a wash-down kit with sprayer and pump on the console layouts makes clean-up after a day's fishing quick and simple.
3. Key Features
Garmin fishing electronics. A Garmin 72SV GPS and colour fishfinder on the console layouts, and a Garmin 52CV fishfinder on the rear fish layouts.
Recirculating livewell and tackle storage. A rear fishing centre with rod holders and a recirculating livewell, a tackle centre on the console layouts and a rear sink area with tackle tray on QF and RF.
Centre console helm. A GEOfish centre console with analogue dash, removable windshield and Uflex Protech hydraulic tilt steering.
Range for a full day. A 38-gallon (144 L) centre pontoon fuel tank on the console layouts and a 25-gallon (95 L) transom tank on QF and RF.
Angler seating. Fishing chairs with sliders and locking seat bases, plus lounge arms with storage depending on layout.
4. Summary
The Avalon GEOfish is addressed to anglers who want a stable, well-equipped fishing platform with the space and comfort of a pontoon. It suits fishing families, weekend anglers and guides who need dedicated electronics, a livewell and easy clean-up, and who fish both fresh and salt water.
