Boat Overview

Boat Description

Axis A200: Small Meets Mighty

1. General Information

Launched for 2026, the Axis A200 is the most compact model in the Axis line-up and the successor to the popular A20. At 6.19 m with a 2.49 m beam and room for 11, this nimble ski and wakeboard boat brings full-scale wake and surf capability to a size that is easy to tow, launch and keep at home.

It is ideal for young families, first-time wake boat owners and riders who trailer between lakes. As a dedicated open day boat it has no cabin; instead the layout prioritises comfortable seating and storage, and the 151 L fuel tank covers a full day of wakesurfing, wakeboarding and foiling.

2. Construction and Design

The A200 is built in fibreglass on the Wake Plus hull, which sits deeper at low speeds to build a bigger wake. Weighing around 1,790 kg dry, it carries 345 kg of standard factory ballast and up to 1,592 kg at maximum, while Power Wedge III fine-tunes wave shape for riders of every level.

The cockpit is designed to feel simple and effortless, with wraparound seating, practical storage and a low-profile Axis Dash touchscreen that puts presets, vitals and audio at the driver's fingertips.

3. Key Features

Big wave, small footprint: Up to 1,592 kg of factory ballast and the Wake Plus hull deliver a serious surf wave from a compact boat.

Surf Gate and Power Wedge III: Push-button wave creation on either side, with an adjustable hydrofoil to shape the wake.

Surf Band: Riders adjust speed, wave shape, surf side and music from a wrist remote.

Monsoon power: Malibu Monsoon inboards from 360 hp up to 430 hp provide strong torque to pull riders up quickly.

Easy to own: Compact dimensions make the A200 straightforward to trailer, store and handle at the ramp.

4. Summary

The Axis A200 is for buyers who want genuine wake and surf performance without the size or cost of a full-size towboat. It suits families getting into watersports, couples and small groups, and anyone who tows to different lakes, offering Malibu technology in Axis's most accessible package.
