Introduced for 2024 as the successor to the A24, the Axis A245 is the flagship of the Axis A-Series, the value-focused wake boat range from Malibu Boats. At 7.45 m with a 2.59 m beam and room for 18, it delivers the biggest wakes and waves in the A-Series with a bold, aggressive look.

It is the natural choice for large families and serious riding crews. As an open day boat it has no cabin; instead it offers expansive bow and cockpit lounges and deep storage, while a large 356 L fuel tank supports long days of wakesurfing, wakeboarding and foiling.

2. Construction and Design

Built in fibreglass on the Wake Plus hull with a 0.81 m draft, the A245 weighs around 2,495 kg dry. It carries 599 kg of standard factory ballast and up to 2,390 kg at maximum, the most in the A-Series, and Power Wedge III lets riders fine-tune the wave for every ability.

The interior is all about the crew, with wraparound lounges, a sociable bow and a clean helm built around the low-profile Axis Dash touchscreen for presets, surf settings, vitals and audio.
