<p>The 305 embodies sturdy, smart functionality in an attractive design with elegant lines, made for families and inveterate seafarers alike. This model's greatest innovation can be found below deck with a number of improvements and smart functional solutions to maximize comfort on board.</p><p>The most important attribute on the 305 is the hull, which has been developed and optimized for speeds from 0 to 22 knots. The hull is designed to suit smaller engines such as the Volvo Penta D3 and the fully-electric Torqeedo, and built to run comfortably irrespective of speed. The hydro-dynamic shape of the hull means that the boat has no planing threshold at all.</p><p>“At Nimbus our belief is that a boat should run comfortably at the speeds at which it is used. We know that Coupé owners are fond of cruising at speeds</p><p>between 4 and 20 knots, which avoids producing a large wake and burning a lot of fuel. For the 305 Coupé we have designed a hull that rides comfortably throughout the entire speed range. In practice, the 305 has no real planing threshold and returns low fuel consumption at all speeds. Speed can be adjusted to weather conditions, which provides better safety, comfort and the best possible ride from which to appreciate your natural surroundings,” said Mats Jacobsson, product development manager at Nimbus.</p><p>Based on the same Scandinavian design philosophy as her popular and award-winning sisters, the 405 and 365 Coupé, the 305 Coupé will mark a new entry into Nimbus’ popular Coupé series featuring the “sidewalk” concept.</p><p>The “Sidewalk Design” is an asymmetrical deck layout where the side deck along the starboard side is extra wide, providing safe and generous freedom of movement. It makes moving about the boat from bow to stern much more convenient and enjoyable, as well as easy to get on and off the boat along the entire starboard side.</p><p>The Sidewalk also allows for maximum use of the interior volume, allowing the cockpit, salon, lower deck and cabin to be larger than would otherwise be the case in a boat of this size. An important feature of the Nimbus sidewalk design concept is the large flush fitted sliding door to starboard. The sliding door provides quick access when docking alongside and enables manoeuvring the boat from a standing position on the side deck.</p><p>The helm has been maximized to provide the greatest possible customization and can be equipped with accessories according to individual requirements. Glued windows with a large, curved windscreen provide a great panoramic view. The salon features large flat surfaces and is both light, airy and cosy, thanks to the choice of materials and LED-lighting. The large glass roof and roof hatches provide a flood of natural light in the salon. A dinette provides plenty of room for four people to share a meal, but also converts easily into a double berth. The dining table can also fold down into a cocktail table with glass holders, making the salon a perfect place for socializing. The galley is well-equipped with ceramic gas heated glass hob with integrated ventilation, Corian top, 65-liter refrigerator and extra refrigerator/freezer box below the sofa on option.</p>

What distinguishes C11 from traditional commuters is that it can easily change its characteristics from "closed" to "open" to better suit day-to-day activities or as a family holiday boat.</p><p>Fast and seaworthy. C11 offers the same solid handling and seaworthiness as the T11. The speed register is between 20-40+ knots and it can easily handle long distances at high speed while maintaining comfort. The range is 205 nautical miles with outboard and 285 nautical miles with inboard.</p><p>The 11-series models are built on the same well-balanced, air-lubricated twin stepped hull that has very good high-speed characteristics combined with low planning threshold. The hull has a sharp bow section for splitting the waves and an added "flare" leads away water spray so that the boat runs dry. The boat is equipped with two Mercury Verado V8 300 as standard.</p><p>- “C11 is a multifunctional Commuter that fits several markets with different needs. Regardless of the market, high speed, protected comfort and good seakeeping are valued. But if the boat is used on the Norwegian West Coast, around the Mediterranean or on the North American east coast, the needs will look different when traveling and at destination. Therefore, we see a clear advantage that the boat has naturally high flexibility and more uses than a traditional Commuter,” says Jonas Göthberg, Commercial Director at Nimbus.</p><p>The C11 is designed to easily transport up to 9 people fast, protected and comfortable year-round, regardless of weather conditions. What stands out is the flexibility of the boat which gives it more uses.</p><p>The heart of the boat is the cozy spacious salon with large light inlets and a seating arrangement that can easily be adjusted depending on activity. For example, transport for 9 people in the direction of travel, dinette for lunch or a large u-sofa for socializing. The flexibility comes from the fact that the two sofas can be folded and moved to different positions depending on the desired functionality with simple handles and that the table can be raised, lowered, rotated and folded. The salon has several easily accessible stowage compartments.</p><p>The high ceiling height and natural lighting in the salon combined with fully opened side doors, open stern door and fully opened roof hatches gives the feel of an open boat.</p><p>The helm seats two people in typical snug Nimbus manner and has plenty of storage compartments. As a driver you can choose to stand or sit while driving. The dashboard has space for two 12-inch plotters. Options include professional suspension seats and joystick steering.</p><p>Like the sibling T11, the C11 has plenty of social areas on deck, a wide walk-around with extra generous deck space and wide passageways that provide significantly good freedom of movement on board. The wide sliding doors allow two people to easily pass each other in the doorways without being crowded. The C11 is easy and convenient to board or disembark and is easy to load or unload.</p>
