<p></p><p>Bering Yachts proudly announces the Bering 130 (40 meters) as its newest Expedition Series model and flagship of the Bering fleet.</p>
<p>Striking with her bold and powerful lines, she has been developed in association with Sabdes Design to be a superb transoceanic yacht, ready to take on the heaviest of seas with grace and efficiency due to a tall bow profile that provides the requisite buoyancy to rise up and over approaching swells.</p>
<p>Her expeditionary-styled, tri-deck&nbsp;profile is influenced by the tall bow as well as the Portuguese bridge and pilothouse, features that contribute to her functionality as well as to her aesthetics. The Bering 130 is every bit as capable as she looks, and with her enormous fuel capacity of&nbsp;17,000&nbsp;gallons, she can travel well over 6,000 nautical miles.</p>
<p>Bering 130 features an extremely functional layout on her 31’ beam. The huge sun deck on the flybridge offers a prime location for entertaining, partially shaded by the hardtop and hosting a wet bar, large Jacuzzi, various lounging areas compromising of lots of fitted sun pads.</p>
<p>Stunning upper deck sky lounge reinforces the indoor/outdoor theme with large doors opening out to the aft. The library area, captain’s quarters and pilothouse are all well laid on the upper deck. Alfresco dining for up to 10 and large sun-loungers are available on the aft side of this deck.</p>
<p>Exterior side of the main deck incorporates the lounge area with sun pads, seating and a generous coffee table.</p>
<p>The vast main saloon and dining area (for 10 guests) have huge full-height windows on either side giving the guests a wonderful sea view. The galley, day head and extensive storage areas are also comprised on the main deck.</p>
<p>The forward located full beam master suite comprises a master stateroom with a king size bed, a spacious head and extensive storage areas. Being located on the main deck provides a real convenience over the more typical placement of the master suite in the lower deck, no stairs. In addition to being far more convenient, the master suite offers maximum privacy given the fact it is completely separated from the lower staterooms.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Four luxurious and spacious staterooms comprising large queen size beds and en suite heads make up the lower deck. Fully equipped, dedicated gym and massage therapy cabins, as well as the crew quarters are also located in the lower deck.</p><p></p>

<li>Hull constructed using marine grade steel A-36 (or AH-36). Bottom plates and integrated tanks sides - 10mm. Hull sides - 6-10 mm. Superstructure - 6-10 мм made of marine grade aluminum 5083.</li>
<li>The hull is divided by five watertight bulkheads creating six compartments.</li>
<li>Flybridge arch, roof and mast are made of aluminum.</li>
<li>The furniture on the flybridge, on upper deck, on bow deck and on cockpit are made of fiberglass.</li>
<li>The hull below waterline is covered with three layers of black antifouling paint.</li>
<li>Hull above the waterline, deck and superstructure putty with Technomarine.Yacht quality fairing above the waterline with Alexseal paint finish.</li>
<li>All bulkheads are reinforced steel construction, with sound and heat insulation per Bering Yachts drawings.</li>
<li>All the interior steel surfaces of the vessel are treated with epoxy primer after thorough surface preparation.</li>
<li>Appropriate zinc plates installed for galvanic protection.</li>

<h4>Steering System</h4>

<li>(2) 20 square foot (1,85 sq.m) air foil steel rudders with 4,72" (120 mm) diameter steel rudder stock mounted on rudder shoe bearings. Rudder posts in lazarette above waterline and attach to bronze rudder arms.</li>
<li>Kobelt hydraulic power steering system with electric full follow up steering.</li>
<li>Three station with Kobelt Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller and Glendinning ProPilot Joystick Control - option.</li>
<li>Zinc anodes on rudders to ensure galvanic corrosion protection.</li>

<h4>Mooring system</h4>

<li>(2) 300Kg N-type stainless steel anchors.&nbsp; Fitted using 316 stainless steel pockets - port and starboard.</li>
<li>Divided chain locker with fresh water flush system, drains overboard.</li>
<li>400 Feet of 22 mm zinc coated anchor chain per side. Rated for high working loads.</li>
<li>316 polished stainless steel bow protection plate.</li>
<li>(2) Maxwell 8000 series hydraulic winches with on deck foot switches and remote controls. Digital chain counters with display in pilothouse. Dual chain stoppers with tensioners. Stainless steel, grooved bow rollers.</li>
