Boat Description
Crestliner 2000 Bay: A Rugged 20-Foot Aluminium Centre Console for Inshore and Inland Fishing
1. General Information
The Crestliner 2000 Bay is a 6.22-metre all-welded aluminium centre console bay boat built from 2014 to 2025 for anglers who fish bays, estuaries, intracoastal waterways, big rivers and lakes. Seating up to six and sold with Mercury outboards from 115 to 150 hp, it offers a wide, stable 2.44-metre beam and a shallow 0.5-metre draft, so it can work skinny flats as comfortably as open bays. Twin aerated livewells, generous lockable rod storage and a well-equipped console make it a serious fishing tool, while comfortable seating means friends and family can share the day on the water.
2. Construction and Design
The hull is all-welded aluminium with a full-length extruded welded keel, welded chine extrusions, extra-strength extruded ribs with cross and side rib construction, six formed strakes and formed spray rails, finished in urethane paint. A reverse sheer bow and an angled transom help handling and stability, and a 12-degree deadrise at the transom balances a soft ride with stability at rest. Inside, wood-free construction and a Crest-Liner interior coating keep the boat tough and easy to clean. The fibreglass centre console carries an instrument panel, windscreen, 12V outlet, space for top-mounted electronics and six vertical rod holders, with a forward 48-quart cooler seat, leaning post with fold-down footrest, deluxe pedestal seat and stern jump seats around it. Dry weight is around 720 kg and the fuel tank holds 121 litres.
3. Key Features
Fibreglass Centre Console – Instrument panel, windscreen, grab handle, electronics space and six vertical rod holders at the helm.
Twin Aerated Livewells – An 18-gallon bow livewell with bait bucket and a 21-gallon stern livewell with timer and recirculation.
Lockable Rod and Gear Storage – Port and starboard bow lockers take rods up to 8 ft 6 in, alongside a locking centre bow compartment.
Comfortable Seating for Six – A cushioned cooler seat, leaning post, deluxe pedestal seat and stern jump seats with storage beneath.
Trolling Motor Ready – A bow trolling motor outlet with wiring harness and in-console battery storage.
4. Summary
The Crestliner 2000 Bay suits inshore and freshwater anglers who want a roomy, durable centre console with real bay-boat capability and the low upkeep of welded aluminium. Its stable hull, twin livewells, ample rod storage and comfortable seating make it a versatile choice for bays, estuaries, rivers and lakes.
