Boat Description
Crestliner 2050 Authority: A 21-Foot Aluminium Fishing Boat for Open Water
1. General Information
The Crestliner 2050 Authority is a 6.35-metre all-welded aluminium dual-console Deep-V built for anglers who fish big, open water. Its high-sided hull handles rough conditions, while two insulated, timed livewells, lockable rod storage for long rods and plenty of dry storage keep serious fishing days organised. With room for nine, a wrap-around windscreen, BOSS Bluetooth stereo and swim platform, it is just as comfortable for family outings. It is rated for 150 to 225 hp Mercury outboards.
2. Construction and Design
The hull is a four-piece all-welded aluminium Deep-V with a variable-degree deadrise of 17 degrees, a full-length extruded welded keel and a full-length welded reverse chine extrusion with spray deflector. Plating is 3.18 mm (0.125-inch) on the bottom and transom and 2.29 mm (0.090-inch) on the sides, with a wood-free transom. A 2.49-metre beam, 0.67-metre cockpit depth and 1.17-metre maximum depth keep the crew secure in waves. The extruded gunnel carries the SureMount and J-Hook systems, the cockpit has easy-clean vinyl flooring over treated panels, and the hull is finished in baked Armor-Guard paint. Dry weight without an engine is around 919 kg.
3. Key Features
Premium Console Design – An ergonomic wrap-around dual console for multiple electronics, with storage beneath both consoles.
Lockable Port Rod Rack – Quick-access storage for four rods up to 2.7 m.
In-Floor Rod Locker – Six lockable tubes for 2.4 m rods with extra open storage below.
Insulated Stern Livewell – A 76-litre aerated, timed livewell plus a 57-litre bow livewell.
Family-Friendly Comfort – BOSS Bluetooth stereo, swim platform with ladder, LED courtesy lights and four Pro fishing seats.
4. Summary
The Crestliner 2050 Authority suits anglers who want a tough, deep and well-equipped aluminium boat for big lakes without stepping up to a 23-footer. Its welded hull, generous storage and wide power range make it a confident platform for trolling, casting and family days.
