Boat Description
Crestliner 2050 Commander: A 20-Foot Dual-Console Aluminium Fishing Boat for Big Water
1. General Information
The Crestliner 2050 Commander is a 6.30-metre all-welded aluminium Deep-V with a side-by-side dual console, built for anglers who fish large lakes and open water. An expansive fishing cockpit, lockable rod storage for long rods and an insulated bow livewell make it a capable fishing platform, while the all-welded windshield and seating for eight make it equally suited to family days. It is rated for 115 to 200 hp Mercury outboards.
2. Construction and Design
The all-welded aluminium hull has a 17-degree deadrise, with 3.18 mm (0.125-inch) plating on the bottom and transom and 2.29 mm (0.090-inch) on the sides. A 2.39-metre beam, 0.76-metre cockpit depth and 1.12-metre maximum depth give a secure, dry ride in a chop, and the 3.38-metre cockpit offers plenty of room to fish. The cockpit is finished in easy-clean vinyl flooring, and dry weight without an engine is around 778 kg.
3. Key Features
Dual Console with Welded Windshield – Side-by-side consoles with an all-welded windshield and no-feedback steering.
Electronics-Ready Layout – Mounting space for dual 12-inch graphs and a 72-inch bow-mount trolling motor.
Lockable In-Floor Rod Locker – Six tubes for 2.29 m rods in the centre locker, plus open port and starboard storage for four 3.05 m rods per side.
Insulated Bow Livewell – A 68-litre aerated, insulated livewell at the bow.
Practical Fishing Extras – A cutting station, two Deluxe seats and a 1,814 kg (4,000 lb) ShoreArm'r trailer as standard.
4. Summary
The Crestliner 2050 Commander suits anglers who want a roomy, well-protected dual-console aluminium boat for big water at a more accessible price than the Authority range. Its welded hull, generous rod storage and wide power range make it a dependable choice for trolling, casting and family outings.
