Boat Overview
Boat Description
Crownline 240 SS LPX
1. General Information
The 240 SS LPX is the performance-styled sibling of Crownline's 240 SS bowrider, now in its second generation. Its look nods to Crownline's award-winning 202 LPX and 225 LPX from the early 2000s, while the 7.26 m hull underneath delivers the space and comfort of a modern family bowrider.
2. Construction and Design
The fibreglass hull uses Crownline's F.A.S.T. Tab vented chine with reversed chines and a delta performance pad on a 19° deadrise, with a 100% composite transom rated up to 430 hp. Solid-colour gelcoat, checkered-flag Gen-2 LPX graphics and a black low-profile windscreen give it a racy profile. Inside, the Lineage interior package surrounds U-wrap seating with a centre transom walk-through and twin aft sun lounges.
3. Key Features
Performance: A MerCruiser 6.2L B3 sterndrive with DTS controls as standard, options up to an 8.2L at 430 hp, and Corsa Quick & Quiet Plus through-side exhaust.
Helm: Twin Garmin 7" touchscreens with LakeVü G3 mapping, an LPX Razor steering wheel and flip-up bucket seats with slide and swivel control.
Audio: A Wet Sounds premium system with eight speakers, including two on the Social Swim Platform.
Lighting: LED underwater transom lights, stainless docking lights and keychain-remote courtesy lighting.
Comfort and trailer: Bimini top, bow and cockpit covers, LPX-logo soft-touch mats, a portable table, a sundeck with Crownline's patented boarding-assist handle and a colour-matched tandem-axle trailer with spare tyre.
4. Summary
With a 2026 US base price of $119,995 including a 300 hp MerCruiser 6.2L, the Crownline 240 SS LPX suits buyers who want a roomy family bowrider with real performance, eye-catching retro styling and a soundtrack to match.
