1. General Information

The 280 DC, first offered as a 2022 model, is the largest dual console in the Finseeker by Crownline range. At 8.18 m long with a 2.84 m beam, it is a multi-purpose family boat that pairs serious fishing equipment with the comfort and entertainment features Crownline is known for.

2. Construction and Design

The fibreglass hull has a 22° deadrise with Crownline's F.A.S.T. Tab vented chine, reversed chines and delta performance pad, plus a 100% composite transom rated up to 600 hp. A low-profile tempered-glass windshield with stainless header and a Moonstone hard top with electric sunshade cover the helm, and a full walk-around swim platform wraps the twin outboards. Trim tabs with indicators come as standard.

3. Key Features

Twin power with joystick: Two Mercury 200 FourStroke XL outboards with DTS controls and joystick piloting for confident docking.

Cockpit galley: A stainless sink, countertop, drawer refrigerator, drink holders and tool and tackle cabinet, plus a 70-qt built-in insulated cooler.

Fishing kit: A 98 L rear aerated bait well, in-floor fish boxes with macerators, two tackle drawers with six trays each, 2.4 m in-floor utility storage, a stow-away aft bench, raw-water washdown and rod holders on gunwales and hard top.

Head compartment: An electric-flush toilet with holding tank, vanity with vessel sink and granite top, upper cabinet, mirror and opening portlight.

Electronics and extras: Twin Garmin 9" touchscreens with full sonar suite, eight Wet Sounds speakers with transom remote, underwater lights, an electric bilge hatch, windlass and an aluminium trailer as standard.
