2017 Dufour Yachts 63 Exclusive

The exclusive Dufour 63 arrives to the public as an absolute novelty. Both from the point of view of the stylistic language and that of the functional significance we wanted to undertake a new way to trace a line that looks to the future. The basic idea was to create a sailboat, which could add ergonomic features much more of those generally found in a 63 foot sail. 

This process, already undertaken in the Grand Large range, in particular with the 500 and the 560, has been further developed. Growing in size, it was possible to realize, first of all, a wider garage, where to hold a 3 meter tender without to remove the engine.
But above all, it is the cockpit that shows many novelty and unprecedented solutions.
The boat is accessible from an elegant hydraulic walkway and two side stairs leading into the cockpit where, for the first time, a large aft sunbathing area has been proposed, transformable into seating and coffee table for the convivial moments. 

The full use of the aft area is also allowed by the fully equipped outdoor galley with refrigerator, barbecue and sink and easily available from the access platform.
The sturdy carbon roll bar can support a large rigid hard top, as well as eliminating the dangers of the mainsheet in the cockpit. 

A large stair allows the access to the raised saloon, with a minimum difference in height made possible by the innovative deckhouse, typical of this exclusive new range; it is stylistically robust, with a decisive character, it develops with glass-windows and angled surfaces. A muscular shape needed to give the right aggressiveness in line with the sporty look of the new and efficient hull. 

The boat’s profile, with a fairly straight line, emphasized by the bow dolphin, is characterized by a long lateral recess that enlivens the hull side, protects the side windows and it is the distinctive sign of the new EXCLUSIVE range.
