2023 Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck

Italian yard Ferretti Yachts has announced a new edition of its flagship model with the introduction of Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck. Building on the success of the original 1000 model, the new version will share the same DNA with the added bonus of a fully-glazed upper deck lounge with open-able slats in the overheard to allow natural ventilation. 

The first unit of the 30.1-metre model is scheduled to launch in June 2023, and it will go on to make its appearance at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2023.

The Skydeck has been designed with all-weather living in mind. As well as benefitting from natural airflow, the space can also be fitted with air-conditioning to keep it cool in hot weather. A staircase provides direct access from the bridge and there is a side door leading to the bow for maximum flexibility. Another set of full-height glass doors leads to an aft relaxation area where there is a bar and loose furniture.  

The new Ferretti Yachts model has the same sporty exterior styling as her sister, with a "suavely understated design featuring clean lines and sophisticated materials," according to a representative from the shipyard. 

The 'Just Like Home' ethos that exists across all Ferretti Group's brands has been emulated in the 1000 Skydeck, and the decor of the new model will use delicate woods and a contrast of warm hues and paler shades.
