The redesigned Quicksilver Activ 605 Bowrider is longer, wider and more streamlined than its predecessor, giving owners more space on board and a sleeker, sportier look. Measuring 6.02 m overall with a 2.34 m beam, it carries up to six people and accepts a single outboard of up to 150 hp. Its 160 L integrated fuel tank, which the builder describes as the largest in its category, makes it an excellent companion for exploring remote bays and longer coastal outings, and a 32 L freshwater tank adds practicality. With a convivial bow area, a flexible cockpit and an optional wakeboard tower, this is a versatile family day boat that is equally at home cruising, sunbathing or towing riders.

2. Construction and Design

The 605 Bowrider rides on a fibreglass monohull with a stylish windshield and an ergonomic helm fitted with SmartCraft instrumentation and hydraulic steering. A wide passage leads to the bow, where generous seating with storage beneath converts into a sun lounge. The cockpit switches from seating to a dining area, with an optional refrigerator, and an easily deployed sun lounge for lazy afternoons. Large swim platforms and a motor-well step give easy access to both sides of the transom, and integrated canvas storage and dedicated fender stowage keep everything in its place. The SMART Edition brings a cockpit sun lounge, cockpit shower, refrigerator, bimini, mooring kit and an electronics pack with Fusion stereo and Simrad chart plotter.
