The Quicksilver Activ 705 Weekend is the most compact model in the Weekend range, packing genuine weekend comfort into a 7.37 m hull with a 2.50 m beam. It carries up to eight people by day and sleeps two in comfort, with a third berth available from the convertible dinette. Uniquely in its range, it can still be transported on a trailer, and its modest size makes finding a marina berth easier. Power comes from a single outboard of up to 225 hp, while a 200 L integrated fuel tank and a 45 L freshwater tank support overnight trips. A built-in galley, an enclosed head and a cockpit that switches from dining to sunbathing make it a versatile, self-sufficient small cruiser.

2. Construction and Design

Built on a fibreglass monohull, the 705 Weekend combines a protected wheelhouse-style cabin with a deep, safe cockpit. A sliding cabin door leads to the interior, where a three-way convertible dinette serves for dining, forward-facing travel or as an extra berth, and the cabin seating converts into a comfortable double berth. The galley includes a sink and recessed storage, with an optional LPG stove and refrigerator, and an enclosed head offers a sea toilet and sink. On deck, a walkway leads to the foredeck, whose opening hatch converts into a large sun lounge. The helm has room for a 9-inch chart plotter, and dual batteries, hydraulic steering, a windscreen wiper and wash, LED courtesy lights and a transom door come as standard.
