Boat Description
Regulator 30XO: Big-Boat Crossover Versatility, Inshore and Offshore
1. General Information
The Regulator 30XO is the largest and most capable of the builder's crossover centre consoles, combining shallow-water access with true offshore range and speed. At 9.32 m with a 3.10 m beam, it draws only 0.53 m with the engines up, yet twin Yamaha F350 outboards push it to more than 54 knots and a comfortable cruise of around 35 knots. An 840 L fuel tank supports long runs, while a stand-up head, console settee and abundant seating make it a superb day boat for families and fishing crews. Whether poling the flats, running to the reef or anchoring at a sandbar, the 30XO adapts effortlessly.
2. Construction and Design
The 30XO is built on a fibreglass hull with 15° of deadrise, tuned for stability, shallow draft and an efficient ride, with standard Seakeeper Ride smoothing the passage underway. At around 4,320 kg with engines, it feels reassuringly solid. Anglers get more than 1,300 L of combined fishbox, livewell and storage capacity, ten rocket launchers and under-gunwale locking rod storage, while a tackle centre with teak-accented helm seats and a modern Garmin helm round out a premium package. Options include a full-control half-tower station, a Seakeeper 1 gyro and a trolling motor.
3. Key Features
Twin Yamaha F350 power: Two 350 hp V8 outboards deliver more than 54 knots with twin-engine peace of mind.
Shallow draft, offshore ability: A 0.53 m minimum draft opens up skinny water while the hull handles offshore conditions with ease.
Massive fishing capacity: More than 1,300 L of fishbox, livewell and storage space, ten rocket launchers and locking rod storage.
Optional half-tower station: A full-control elevated helm gives a commanding view for sight fishing on the flats.
Comfort and stabilisation: Standard Seakeeper Ride, a stand-up head and a console settee keep family days comfortable.
4. Summary
The Regulator 30XO is aimed at anglers and families who want a single boat for flats, bays and offshore waters without compromise. It suits owners who value speed, twin-engine reliability, shallow draft and premium build quality, along with a comfortable, social deck. For buyers seeking the ultimate crossover centre console, the 30XO is a compelling choice.
