1. General Information
The Sanger V215 XTZ is the top-of-the-range version of the V215 series, combining the light, nimble 6.63 m hull with the most complete equipment list Sanger offers at this size. Weighing around 1,451 kg with a 2.44 m beam and seating for 12, it is agile, efficient and easy to tow, yet comes with premium touches normally reserved for larger towboats. A custom touchscreen dash with surf, wake and ski modes, GPS speed control and an upgraded ICE audio system make it ideal for families and progressing riders who want one polished boat for surfing, wakeboarding and skiing. A 121 L fuel tank supports full days on the water; as an open day boat it has no cabins or galley.
2. Construction and Design
The V215 XTZ shares Sanger's uni-body fibreglass hull and deck with a full-length stringer, a 0.66 m draft and a 16-degree deadrise at the transom. Power comes from the Indmar Raptor 400 (350 hp) or Raptor 440 (398 hp), driving an ACME propeller through brass underwater gear with stainless steel mufflers. Rack-and-pinion tilt steering and a Livorsi digital throttle give precise control. The XTZ package adds a billet dash panel, glove box and trim, a swivelling driver's bolster seat, LED-lit cup holders, an LED underwater transom light, 12-volt outlets and Sanger's exclusive Launch Pad rear seating area for easy access to the water.
