Boat Description
Starcraft Storm 17 DC: Maximum Value, Pro-Level Fishing Performance
1. General Information
The Starcraft Storm 17 DC is a versatile, dual-console aluminium fishing boat built for dependable, all-round fishability. At 5.38 m (17 ft 8 in) overall with a 2.24 m beam, it is compact enough to tow and launch easily yet roomy enough for up to 5 people or 700 lb. It suits anglers who chase multiple species on lakes and rivers, as well as families who want a sturdy, good-value boat for fishing and relaxed days out. A 91 L fuel tank covers a full day of trolling or running between spots.
2. Construction and Design
At the core of the Storm is Starcraft's VPS hull (Vertex Performance Strake), designed to improve lift, stability and handling for quicker planing, a smoother ride and better control in varying water conditions. A 12 degree deadrise at the transom and 34 in of hull depth add stability and security, while the aluminium construction keeps the boat light at 537 kg dry weight. A 20 in transom suits outboards up to 115 hp. Convenient storage areas keep gear organised while leaving the deck open for fishing.

4. Summary
