2017 Steeler 52S Performance

The perfect blend of aesthetics, functionality and performance. The 52 S Performance was the first model developed in our S-design Performance line, setting the very highest standard for all those to come. She showcases how Steeler can create fantastic fast motoryachts in aluminium that embrace a design language distinctive from anything else on the market.

Built to CE-A oceangoing certification, the 52 S Performance has an unlimited navigation area. The French canals are easily accessible as the yacht has a vertical clearance of just 3.15 metres and a draught of 1.20 metres. When the yacht is fitted with shaft drive propulsion you can have keel extensions added to protect the propellers against unexpected shallow waters.

Despite her power, the 52 S Performance is also a luxury cruising vessel with three bedrooms and two bathrooms (or just two suites). You can choose whether to have your galley in the wheelhouse or foreship, and the cockpit can be extended with a sunbed. Either way the interior is bathed in natural light thanks to the liberal use of glass.

Another fine example of how Steeler clients are telling their own story with a 52S Performance is the breathtaking Blueprint. This was developed for a client who has been a lover of watersports all his life but had, by his own admission, given work priority. Now the time had come to fulfil his boyhood dream so he needed to partner with a yard who could understand and deliver all his requirements with no compromises. Steeler, in other words…

Blueprint is his dream boat in terms of her looks, in terms of her performance, in terms of her rugged sports car-like sound… And she caters to the client’s large family. In other words we have created a unique blend of a Ferrari and an SUV on the water. The 52S already has a far from modest performance as a model but for Blueprint we upped the ante by installing a Zeus pod system with twin Cummins 550 hp engines. The result is a storming 38 knots at six litres per nautical mile, with the sounds to match when accelerating with the inboard joystick – a great deal of work was carried out by the Steeler engineers on the exhaust to generate the noise required by the owner.
