Two Oceans Marine launched the The Two Oceans 740 Performance Cruising Catamaran in 2016. She is designed by award-winning South African yacht design firm Du Toit Yacht Design.
The Two Oceans 740 Performance Cruising Catamaran is a beautiful and functional sailing Catamaran that has been designed with a tall rig. She carries a large sail area, and a deeper keel and rudder to offer better-than-average levels of performance. She has an aesthetically pleasing low profile fly bridge design, yet one still has the feeling of being on a much larger yacht.
The Two Oceans 740 Performance Cruising Catamaran is custom designed and built for the owner family and guests cruise the world. She has a comfortable interior that has been optimised for the best use of space and interior flow. She is comfortable and stylish.
She has five double en-suite cabins, accommodating ten people comfortably, as well as two crew cabins to accommodate four crew, meaning that the owners can welcome guests onto their boat wherever they may be in the world.
The Two Oceans 740 Performance Cruising Catamaran is expertly built in a sandwich construction, using epoxy E-glass with a PVC foam core. Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing are renowned as industry leaders and specialists in building custom designed luxury catamarans with a build quality and attention to detail that is exemplary.
This is a yacht of elegance, with beautiful lines and intricate features. The Two Oceans 740 Performance Cruising Catamaran boasts a spacious saloon and galley, with all the comforts one could ask for on a luxury holiday. The main saloon is spacious, the galley being part of this area. There is also a state-of-the-art navigation station in the corner of the main saloon.
Moving out of the saloon into the spacious aft cockpit, one finds plenty of comfortable and stylish custom-made outdoor furniture and a bar area with braai and a fridge on teak decks. The Two Oceans 740 Performance Cruising Catamaran has two spacious aft cockpits – one aft on the main deck and one on the upper flybridge level– both protected from the sun and the elements. The upper cockpit on the flybridge is the main command centre of the catamaran, from where one drives the boat, sheltered from the elements.
A large davit which holds a large 16 foot RIB on the aft deck, providing some privacy to the occupants of the aft cockpits when she is moored stern to.
