Boat Description
Valhalla Boatworks V-46: Stepped-Hull Sportfisher with Yacht-Style Comfort
1. General Information
The Valhalla Boatworks V-46 is a large outboard-powered sportfishing boat from the Valhalla V-Series, measuring 14.2 metres on the hull and 15.1 metres with the engines down. Designed for long offshore runs and serious fishing, it is powered by triple or quad Mercury Verado V12 600 outboards, with up to 2,400 hp available and Mercury Joystick Piloting to simplify close-quarters handling.
Valhalla describes the boat as built to fish while offering yacht-quality comfort. An air-conditioned console cabin houses a dinette that converts to a queen berth, a galley and a private head with shower, so crews can rest, eat and refresh without leaving the boat. The V-46 suits tournament anglers and owners who want a fast, capable day boat with overnight-style amenities.
2. Construction and Design
Michael Peters Yacht Design developed the patented Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel running surface, which aims to cut drag while improving speed, stability and efficiency. The hull carries a 24-degree deadrise at the transom, and shares the V-Series family traits of an S-shaped sheer, double chines, a tumblehome transom bustle and 360-degree fishability.
A dedicated machinery room gives service access to the generator, batteries, chargers, water heater and electrical systems. At the helm, an elevated console and seating platform improve visibility and increase cabin volume, while the Bocatech switching, Zip-Wake trim control and glove-box access to key controls keep everything close at hand.
3. Key Features
Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel hull: A patented Michael Peters design that supports efficient, stable offshore running.
Up to 2,400 hp: Triple or quad Mercury Verado V12 600 outboards with joystick control.

4. Summary
The Valhalla Boatworks V-46 is a high-power, stepped-hull sportfishing boat for anglers who want long range, tournament-ready fishing features and a comfortable cabin in one outboard-powered package. Options such as a hardtop with rocket launcher, outriggers, Seakeeper stabiliser and bow thruster let owners tailor it to their style of fishing.
