Quad Mercury Verado V12 600 outboards with joystick control provide up to 3,000 hp of rated capacity, while 4,584 litres of fuel support long offshore passages and distant fishing grounds.

2. Construction and Design

Michael Peters Yacht Design developed the patented Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel hull, which aims to reduce drag while improving speed, stability and efficiency. The hull has a 22.5-degree deadrise at the transom, and the deck allows 360-degree access around the boat for working fish from any angle.

A machinery room houses the diesel generator, water heater, batteries, chargers and fuel-management components, keeping systems accessible and the living spaces quiet. At the helm, a protected glass enclosure, large multifunction displays, Bocatech switching and Zip-Wake trim control give the captain good visibility and command of the boat.
