Boat Description
Yellowfin 39 Offshore: Wide-Beam Stepped-Hull Offshore Fishing Boat
1. General Information
The Yellowfin 39 Offshore is a 12.09 m (39 ft 8 in) centre console with a 3.51 m beam, built for anglers who want to fish seas that many competing boats avoid. Its wide, brawny hull and Yellowfin's stepped-hull design let it run smooth and dry in conditions that send many boats back to the dock.
It can be powered with triple or quad outboards and offers wide-open deck space, large storage and many customisation options. Yellowfin says it is also fast, dry and efficient, and has announced an update with a new console frame and a top-to-bottom enclosure.
2. Key Features
Ride quality: a Seakeeper Ride 750 Quad system and electric steering are standard.
Fishing equipment: 14 Gemlux rod holders, an insulated fish box with a gulper pump, and plumbed livewells in the transom and leaning post, plus fresh and saltwater washdown.
Hardtop and electronics: a hardtop with five rod holders on its frame, spreader lights and C-Zone digital switching.
Sub-console head: a head compartment below the console is standard.
Corrosion-resistant hardware: titanium cleats and through-hulls and a Gemlux Belloca stainless-steel steering wheel.
3. Performance and Capacity
The 39 Offshore is rated for triple or quad outboards of up to 1,800 hp in total. Its approximate weight is 5,897 kg with power and a light fuel load, and it carries 2,135 L of fuel. Options include forward seating, hardtop and tower options, a coffin box and additional livewells.
4. Who It Is For
It is aimed at committed offshore anglers who want big-boat performance on the rip, plenty of deck room and the freedom to customise the boat for tournament or everyday fishing.
