Carver Yachts

Carver Yachts: A Legacy of American Yacht Craftsmanship

Carver Yachts, a hallmark of American yacht construction in Pulaski, Wisconsin, has been synonymous with superior craftsmanship and innovative design since its inception in 1954. Founded by Charles Carter and George Verhagen, Carver Yachts evolved from crafting mahogany runabouts to leading the industry in fiberglass yacht production, offering a range of models from 18 to 57 feet.

Innovation Meets Tradition

Carver's transition to fiberglass construction under the ownership of Walter Markham and Glen Nordin marked a new era of expansion, setting the stage for international acclaim. This innovation, coupled with traditional craftsmanship, solidified Carver's reputation as a premier yacht builder.

The Marquis Legacy

In 2004, Carver introduced the Marquis Yachts line, starting with the 59 and 65 Motor Yachts, further cementing its status in the luxury yachting domain. The line, particularly the 65 Motor Yacht, showcases Carver's dedication to quality and luxury, with over 100 units crafted between 2005 and 2008.

End of an Era

Despite its illustrious history and contribution to the yachting world, Carver Yachts permanently closed its doors on July 30, 2021. Yet, the legacy of Carver Yachts endures, living on in the waters they were made to explore.
