Novatec Yachts: Taiwanese Motor Yachts Built Under Their Own Name

Novatec Yachts is the motor yacht brand of Nova Marine Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese shipyard founded in 1983 by CEO Eddy Tao. Rather than building for other labels, Novatec has always marketed its fiberglass motor yachts under its own name. The United States is its primary market, with owners across Europe, Asia and Australasia.

The Classic Sedan, Islander and Euro Series

Novatec's range has been organised around three series, the Classic Sedan, the Islander and the Euro, with models from around 40 to 84 feet. The 40 and 42-foot motor yachts have been among its most popular. The brand is known for spacious interiors, teak joinery, stable modified-V hulls and twin diesel power from well-known engine makers.

Design Pedigree

Novatec has worked with respected designers including Bill Dixon of the UK and the Italians Tommaso Spadolini and Carlo Mezzera. Newer designs developed with Mezzera include the S65 SuperNova. Owners can customise interior features across the range.
