Boat Description
Bahama 41: The Flagship of Offshore Centre Consoles
1. General Information
Introduced in 2008, the Bahama 41 is the flagship of Bahama Boat Works and one of the most admired super centre consoles on the offshore scene. At 12.57 m overall with a 3.35 m beam, she unites the speed and range demanded by tournament anglers with the refined, semi-custom finish expected by owners who also cruise and entertain. Ten flush stainless rod holders, twin tournament livewell pumps and an extended console lounge make her equally at home on the canyon edge or at a sandbar gathering.
Around 2,196 L of fuel and triple or quad Mercury Verado outboards, up to roughly 1,700 hp, give the 41 the legs for long bluewater runs, island crossings and multi-day fishing trips. As an open fishing boat she has no cabins, but the console houses a freshwater head, and a triple-bolster helm with an aft mezzanine cooler seat keeps the crew secure at speed. Draft of between 0.71 m and 0.97 m, depending on the engine package, keeps shallow approaches within reach.
2. Construction and Design
The fibreglass deep-V hull runs to 24° of deadrise at the transom, delivering the soft, dry and steady ride on which the Bahama reputation is built. Every detail is engineered for hard offshore use: a heavy-duty rubbing strake with stainless insert, zinc-chromate-coated aluminium fuel tanks, stainless hawse pipes and cleats, and hatches sealed with double O-rings and compression latches. A hatch prepared for a SeaKeeper gyro stabiliser is integrated into the deck.
At the helm, ZipWake automatic trim tabs, Mercury joystick and electric steering, an EZ2CY windscreen centre and the Bahama Signature hardtop with LED lighting and a moulded electronics box create a commanding, comfortable workstation. Owners can tailor the boat with a choice of hull colours, upholstery, teak helm chairs, a brushless bow thruster, an SK3 SeaKeeper and composite teak flooring, reflecting the brand's semi-custom approach.
3. Key Features
Quad-engine capability: Triple or quad Mercury Verado packages, or twin 600 hp V12s, deliver flagship performance with redundancy for long offshore runs.
Bluewater fuel range: Some 2,196 L of fuel in coated aluminium tanks supports canyon trips and crossings to the islands.
Tournament fishing layout: Ten rod holders, twin livewell pumps, fresh and raw-water hose reels and a starboard side door with ladder keep the cockpit working hard.
Effortless control: Joystick docking, ZipWake trim and a SeaKeeper-ready hull make a large, powerful boat easy and comfortable to handle.
4. Summary
The Bahama 41 is built for the experienced offshore owner, tournament team or serious family angler who wants the most capable boat in the Bahama range. She meets the need for long range, high speed and a supremely comfortable ride in rough water, wrapped in custom-level craftsmanship, and appeals to buyers seeking a premium alternative to production super centre consoles in the 12–13 m class.
