Boat Description
Bahama 41 GT: Grand Touring Comfort, Offshore Pedigree
1. General Information
Launched in 2024, the Bahama 41 GT is the grand touring evolution of the celebrated Bahama 41 super centre console. She keeps the proven 12.57 m hull and 3.35 m beam of her sister, then reworks the helm and seating to put long-distance comfort on an equal footing with offshore fishing ability. The result is a luxurious, sociable and seriously fast open boat for owners who run far and want their guests to enjoy every mile.
The GT layout brings a helm pod console, forward-facing double-row seating for five, aft-facing mezzanine seating and an extra-long D-shaped hardtop that shades far more of the deck. With around 2,196 L of fuel and triple or quad Mercury Verado outboards, she has the range for island crossings and canyon runs alike. As an open boat she has no cabins, while the console provides a freshwater head.
2. Construction and Design
Beneath the GT upgrades lies the same fibreglass deep-V hull that made the 41 a benchmark for smooth, dry running in a seaway. Construction follows Bahama's uncompromising standards: zinc-chromate-coated aluminium fuel tanks, a heavy-duty rubbing strake with stainless insert, stainless hardware with backing plates and hatches sealed by double O-rings and compression latches, plus a hatch ready for a SeaKeeper gyro stabiliser.
Comfort is where the GT shines. Three 16-inch Garmin displays, an electric power shade for the aft cockpit integrated into the hardtop and an overhead freshwater rain shower sit alongside ZipWake trim tabs and Mercury joystick steering. Teak helm chairs for the second row, premium upholstery and custom hull colours let each owner shape a yacht-like finish.
3. Key Features
Dual-row helm seating: Forward-facing 3 + 2 seating keeps five people secure and sheltered behind the helm at speed.
Extended GT hardtop: A longer D-shaped top with integrated electric aft shade and rain shower adds shade and convenience on long days.
Triple-screen command centre: Three 16-inch Garmin displays with radar, sonar and autopilot give a clear, integrated picture of the voyage.
Proven 41 performance: Triple or quad Verado power and the renowned deep-V hull deliver the speed and sea-keeping of the Bahama flagship.
4. Summary
The Bahama 41 GT is aimed at owners who travel offshore with family and friends as often as they fish, and who refuse to give up performance for comfort. She suits buyers seeking a premium grand touring centre console with long range, generous shaded seating and custom-level finish, built on one of the most respected 12 m offshore hulls available.
