From the coastal town of Les Sables d'Olonne, Kirié Shipyard carved its niche in the boating world in 1927. Founded by the venerable Auguste Kirié, the yard initially specialized in small wooden sailing vessels, setting a high benchmark in boat craftsmanship.
As needs shifted, the Kirié legacy embraced innovation, transcending from wood to polyester—a ground-breaking move that established them as pioneer shipbuilders. The "Feeling" range emerged, epitomizing versatility with both lifting keel and fin keel options, catering to dedicated sailors' diverse preferences.
Recognition was quick to follow, with the 13.5-metre Feeling yacht securing victory in the "Route du Rhum" race. Subsequently, the "Boat of the Year" title further acknowledged Kirié's commitment to nautical engineering prowess.
After a temporary closure, Kirié found revitalization in 2000 with Alliaura Marine's acquisition, breathing new life into the Feeling line. Privilège Marine's 2010 integration meant a fresh vision, expanding the range yet preserving the original Feeling essence.
The secondhand market saw a surge in demand for Feeling yachts. With boats like the Feeling 30 and Feeling 1040, the brand assured a blend of performance, comfort, and undying design a coveted alliance for sailing aficionados worldwide.
